Share 4-in-1 functionality without limits
Print, Scan, Copy and Fax from virtually anywhere in the office or home with Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity. This network ready All-in-One makes sharing content across a local network easy – without clumsy connecting cables.

Fast faxing. Save faxes, save paper.
Take advantage of fast, 33.6kbps Super G3 faxing. Incoming faxes can be saved to internal memory and then be saved to a memory card or USB key – so you can view and archive them without the need to print every one.

High speed document handling
Automatically Scan, Copy or Fax large double-sided documents fast and efficiently. The built-in, 35-sheet Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) handles it all easily. Scan and save to ‘compact pdf’ ensures a small file size, ideal for saving or e-mailing. With auto duplex, 2-way paper feeding and a self-opening tray, it all ensures versatility and ease of use.

Minimise ink wastage, cut costs
5 Single Ink tanks (PGI-520BK, CLI-521BK/C/M/Y) save on ink wastage and on running costs – as each ink tank is separately replaceable.

Exceptional photolab-quality
Canon’s FINE technology, with 1pl ink droplets, delivers 9600x2400dpi print resolution for amazingly detailed colour photos and images. A spectacular 10x15cm photo is produced in approximately 39 seconds.

6.2cm colour TFT display
View and manipulate photos easily, without a PC, via memory card slots and the practical 6.2cm colour TFT display.

Realistic document print speeds
Canon supports the industry-wide ISO standard for measuring print and copy speeds. This makes it easy to select the right PIXMA for you based on real print performance. The PIXMA MX870 offers fast ISO ESAT speeds of 9.4ipm for mono documents and 6.1ipm for colour.

Intuitive software
Auto Document Fix software delivers superb and easy-to-read scans even for colour documents combining text and images. Auto Photo Fix II corrects a wide range of common photo faults and optimises photo image quality.

Long lasting, beautiful photos
The ChromaLife100+ system provides long lasting, beautiful photos. The combination of the PIXMA MX870, original Canon inks and certain genuine Canon photo papers preserves memories for a lifetime.

Smartphone and Tablet ready
Canon’s Easy-PhotoPrint app provides the flexibility to print from or even scan to your mobile devices, wherever you are in the home. With Apple AirPrint support, you can also print photos, emails, web pages and other documents direct from your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

Print more for less
With the extra capacity XL FINE cartridges there are longer periods between ink replacements. They deliver significantly more prints than their standard equivalents. The XL cartridges are also more cost effective and let you save up to 50% per page – ideal if you print regularly.

Auto Duplex provides automatic double-sided printing, which saves paper while delivering professional looking documents. My Image Garden software
A single toolbox offers easy photo printing, scanning and access to online services like CREATIVE PARK PREMIUM. With its photo organising capabilities, including face recognition, it will search the photos on your PC, even those long forgotten, and assemble them into great designs for printing. It also makes it simple to scan to Cloud services and create PDFs.

Print direct from Facebook
The Print Your Days app lets you print your, and your friends’, photos directly from Facebook. Apply various effects or create eye-catching collages of up to five photos on a single page, using one of the many background styles available.

Save energy
Cut your power consumption with Auto Power Off, which switches the printer off if not used for a set time. Auto Power On conveniently turns it back on, automatically, when you start printing.
